The Isles of Scilly are a small archipelago
of about 150 islands located 28 miles S.S.W. of lands end. Of
the 150 or so islands only 5 are inhabited, these are St. Marys,
Tresco, St. Martins, Bryher and St. Agnes. The capital Hugh town
is located on the main island of St.Marys and it is here that
most visitors to Scilly first arrive. There are 3 ways in which
to travel to Scilly from the mainland - by plane, helicopter
or on the ferry the Scillonian III - for more details on how
to get there go to the Links Page
From St. Marys many visitors choose to explore the other
Islands, this is easily done by catching one of the many tripper
boats that run regularly between the islands - the times for
these boats are shown on notice boards on the quay and at various
places throughout the island

For the visitor to St. Martins there is much to see and do, wether
you are here for several weeks or just a day you will never be
short of activities. There are faboulous deserted white sand
beaches to enjoy, breathtaking scenery and quiet coastal walks.
If you are the more adventurous type then you may like to try
your hand at Windsurfing, Fishing, Diving or Sailing all of which
are offered on the island. After a long summers day there is
no better place to unwind than sat in the garden of the pub with
a cool drink in hand watching the sun set over the hills of Samson
and Tresco.
